REGULAR MEETING OF THE 2009-1<= /b>0 BOARD OF DIRECTORS met at Saint Mary's
Episcopal Church, Ramona, <= span style=3D'font-size:11.0pt;color:#2D302E'>CA 92065. The meeting was called to order at 5= :31pm b= y President
Rick Terrazas.

Officers: Pat Bell, Chris Smith

ORDER OF BUSINESS

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS:

On motion by Tom Taylor and Second= by Jim Cooper, the minutes of the March 8, 2010 meeting
were approved as pres= ented. A= yes all.

TREASURER'S REPORT: Reviewed and filed as a permanent part o<= span style=3D'font-size:11.0pt;color:#2D302E'>f these minutes.

CORRESPONDENCE: Letter from attorney general concerning non-profit status, Secr= etary to
investigate

STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: &= nbsp; (Report to Kiwanis International by Secretary

Required)

Community Service: No Report from Chair but Library book sale hours provided by Michael
Harrison. 4.5 Hours with 2 persons.

Human & Spiritual Values: No Report

Inter-club: None to report

Service Leader'sh= ip Progr'ams (SLP): 1 Hour for = K-Kids

Young Children Pr'iority One: Mary Halliday reported that she Delivered 47 books to Head Start
for Literacy program. Hrs. <= /span>3, numb= er of people 2, cost $21.00. Please n= ote, Tom Taylor donated a
complete 18 volume set of Disney books from the Library Book Sale. He paid $10 for them and
does not wish to be reimbursed.

Sewed and cut out 20 Pediatric Tra= uma dolls. Walter Ainslie had the K-Kids t= urn them right-side-
out. (SLP committee= ?) Hrs. 4, number of members 2, = cost $13.

Youth Services: 1 Person 24 Hours working with robotics team at competition= .

OTHER COMMITTEES: No report required.

Cub Scout Pack: No Report.

Nominating Committee: Jim Cooper reported nominations: President, Chris Smith; President
Elect, Bob Hailey; Treasurer, Richard Wade; Director, Torn Taylor

Bow Wow Pow Wow: = Carol stated that more money is needed for gift certificates. On a motion by
Torn Taylor and Second by Mary Halliday, $300= was approved to be added to the BWPW budget.
A= yes all.

Project Lifesaver: No Report

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

Check to S.N.A.P. team was apparently lost. Need to reissue. On a motion by Walter Ainslie and =
Second by Jim Cooper, the old check will have a stop payment and a new check for $500 issued to
the RHS automotive program. A= yes all.

NEW BUSINESS:

Paul Tarr introduced inducting Kevin Bell into club. On a motion = by Jim Cooper and second by
Torn Taylor. Kevin will be inducted at the next club meeting. Ayes all.

Bob Hailey suggested getting 1000 = new member invitation cards because it is the lowest cost per
card. On a motion by Walter Ainslie and second by Jim Cooper, Bob is authorized to purchase
cards not to exceed $149 + tax.= Ayes all.

Rick Terrazas= reported that the accommodations for him at the International Convention wi= ll exceed

the originally approved amount by $12= 1.52. On a motion by Jim Cooper and second by Mary
Halliday, the club will cover the additional expenses. Ayes all.
